"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I hit a wall, but I'm liking the ease and tweakability of using the simple pencil tool auto color fill style. It's a lot less work to color. So it saves like 40% of the work. And it doesn't look too bad. So my style is continuing to devolve.
Got an idea. Try to draw every birds-eye-view shot you can think of. Or look through all of your old artwork and re-draw them on a page. Then color it, make it a 4x6, so you can print it in a cvs and put it in your porfolio 4x6 booklet.
It's not that hard. It usually takes 3 hours on a weekend. Usually a movie and a half. But I'm trying to eventually update a comic every week. That way, 52 weeks can turn into 2 1/2 comics a year. Way better than my 1 comic in 33 year track record I have. I can't believe 2007 is 6 years ago. But I encourage everyone to color a sketch every week. It really is a neat obtainable goal to have. Do it, people. Gimp is free.
