Plains Walker

I am mildly confused. A planeswalker is someone from mtg who travels the planes, summoning creatures doing awesome stuff. A plainswalker is someone who can't be blocked in mtg if your opponent controls a plains. The item presented is a regular walker, which is neither used for traveling planes of existence or large grassy fields. I am confused by what context "planeswalker" could be confused with "walker."
